In this project, Moore & Associates performed a specific price survey for two grades of recovered paper in a single North American supply region. The effort was performed for the company to verify procurement costs for a group of company mills in the region.
A Recycle Paperboard Producer – A Recovered Paper Grade Pricing Analysis.
Moore & Associates analyzed both loose and baled prices and broker/packer costs for procurement of a recovered paper grade in a specific region. The analysis was designed to assist the client decide whether to pursue a back integration strategy for recovered paper procurement or restructure its current buying practices.
A North American Newsprint Producer – Acquisition Due Diligence.
Moore & Associates performed an analysis of ONP and OMG procurement practices of an existing recycle newsprint operation. The work was performed for a client pursuing acquisition of the company. As part of the effort, Moore & Associates forecasted ONP price impacts from expanding the current use of recycle fiber at the operations.

In this project, Moore & Associates performed a detailed analysis of a variety of recovered paper procurement organization structures, including both market buyers and those entities with recycling plant operations. Included in this effort was a benchmarking analysis of recycling processing plant operations.
